The Built in Bookcase

The Built-In

After waiting almost a year, my husband finally rebuilt the first of two bookcases missing from beside our family room fireplace.

The original ones were in bad shape and were removed when we remodeled the room.

The new one is spectacular! And so worth the wait!!

Now there is more room to once again display my favorite design books, bowls of sea shells, and small paintings of boats and lighthouses.

Let me fun begin.

I keep moving things around.

It is a  work in progress.

And  I will keep changing it until I get it just right!

But that is the fun of it, right?

What is my favorite item in the bookcase?

Definitely the oil painting my father did of a lighthouse.

Everything else though, is a close second!
