This year I started my Christmas decorating immediately after Thanksgiving. Still the final touches to do, but now we have a whole month to enjoy the beauty of Christmas!

Independence Day 2014

Well, unfortunately for us here on Long Island, the 4th of July was a wash-out. Hurricane Arthur passed us by just in time to dump a whole lot of rain and postpone all holiday celebrations for a day. But dramatic weather means some amazing photo opportunities! We had a few storms before Arthur came and went ...so I've had a lot of material to work with. None the less, wishing one and all a very Happy Independence Day and may God continue to Bless the USA!

Happy Belated Mother's Day

Have been falling behind on blogging, as garden clean-up and keeping up with the kids have taken over.  But things are moving along here and Spring is in full bloom. Even Mother's Day was glorious and I was so happy to spend the day with my boys and my sister's family.
