Whimsical and Colorful
My middle son has an interesting eye for art.
It always amazes me what will strike his fancy........
Often he is attracted to sea life.
A colorful fish.........these always catch his eye!
A friendly whale......as long as it's smiling!
A glittery ram? OK.....It's not quite beachy............but maybe it's a little bit prairie!
He inspires me to look at art in a whole new and fun way.
And I LOVE it!

These colorful fish totally caught Z.'s eye. I think they remind him of himself!
At an art gallery with daddy.......
He LOVED this whale. Unfortunately it was a bit expensive.....but I
hope It inspired him to try to draw one himself.
The glittery Rams!
Even shop windows can be works of art. This toy shop in Greenport
displays many assorted rubber ducks.
Food can be art too! The "sad face chocolate chip pancakes" from his breakfast!
I was very impressed by his creativity and spontaneity. Sand can be a canvas too!
My oldest son, the "artist" of my three boys, created this piece from paper and charcoal and it depicts the beluga whales and sea turtles he had seen while on a trip to Mystic, CT.
Kids have a wonderful sense of color and whimsy.
We adults can learn a lot from seeing the world through their eyes.
Yes, we could learn a lot.......
