Another Christmas has now come and gone.
All the decorations have been taken out of storage and carefully unpacked and displayed. The trees have been trimmed with favorite ornaments, both old and new. The cookies have been baked, many from old family recipes. And the delicious food has been shopped for, prepared, and eaten. The carols have been sung, the school winter concerts have been attended, and the Christmas cards have been written, mailed, and received. Bible readings for Christmas Eve service have been rehearsed and the cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer have been baked and left by the fireplace. And finally all those wonderful Christmas gifts have been shopped for, wrapped and gleefully opened by the children....both young and those young at heart. A month of planning and preparing to celebrate both the the beauty of the season and God's greatest gift to man. I hope your Christmas was filled with love, family and friends, and the joy of the season. Merry Christmas xoxo S.
