You can not imagine how exciting this is.
We have had two lilac bushes in our garden for several years.
But have not had one bloom in ages.
I have been waiting patiently.
In desperation the lilacs were moved to what we hoped would be a better, sunnier location.
And to my delight both bushes have now many lovely blooms.
Happiness!
This photograph shows the first blooms on a lilac which was given to us by my Dad.
It was a small sapling at the time, so I expected to have to wait awhile to enjoy the flowers.
My Father knew how much I loved the lilacs in his garden.
I now see these first-ever blooms and can feel his presence.
I Miss you Dad. It has been three years today without you.
Still can't believe it.
But now I have this special piece of your garden in my own.
Priceless.
