There is a reason lilacs are so beloved.
Yes, the flowers are very pretty and they do make the most wonderful bouquets.
But even better is the wonderful fragrance of those blooms.
I wish I could put that sweet smell into a blog post.
I have a pretty little bouquet in a vase in my kitchen.
Every time I pass by I catch it's scent.
And it makes me smile.
A simple little pleasure.
Yes, lilacs are wonderful indeed.
