Last week-end a family friend invited us all to celebrate her son's 9th Birthday at the beach.
It was the perfect beach evening.....
And eight crazy boys got to swim and play and hunt sea-creatures to their heart's content.
Pizza was delivered to the beach...
And a yummy salad, the required birthday cake, and lots of drink and wine accompanied it.
As the sun set, fireworks filled the night sky, much to our surprise.
No, it was not part of the birthday celebration, but the timing could not have been more perfect.
Summer at the shore, quite divine.
And to celebrate your birthday as well...priceless!
